Extreme Fishing

Oops, sorry folks I'm nearly a week late, I've been on holiday at the beach and away from my computer. I'm also hoping street photography doesn't really have to have a street because the only time I was on a street was to drive to and from the beach, so I'm claiming artistic license. I happened to catch this guy fishing on one of my walks.

Yea, that's dedication to the sport, for sure. :)

damn!! that is extreme!!

i think the guy's crazy, but that's just me.

i like the framing and the use of space. it makes him look small compared to the elements. nicely done!

As has been said, this is a well framed shot of someone whose dedication to their sport may give rise to thinking he is one sandwich short of a picnic! Cool

What troubles me about this photo is that I looked at it and didn't notice anything dangerous (until after I read the comments and went back again). What does that say about me? Innattentive or one short of that picnic mentioned by Obsidian? Hmmm. If this guy does half as well capturing fish as you did capturing him, he'll have a banner day to brag about.

Nice color and detail in the water. This is just me, but I might have cloned out that smidge of a rock at the center bottom.

That guy could use a life vest at least. LOL He probably does this everyday. I too, didn't think about the dangers till I read the comments. I just thought it was pretty cool to get a birds eye view on some guy fishing against a cool blue water. lol
